This ensures you receive a comprehensive and complete update on your boat’s transfer as soon as possible.
Is prior sailing experience required for your training programs?
No, you do not need any prior experience to enroll in our sailing training. Are my wishes taken into account when determining the transfer route?
The boat owner’s specific route requests are certainly accommodated by our team as long as they do not pose a safety risk. Especially on shorter routes and when training is included, we can extend the route to complete your lessons, and your preferences are taken into account during these extensions.
However, please remember that safety is always our top priority. As stipulated in our contract, the captain has the authority to change the route and passage plans if deemed necessary. This authority is always exercised with your and your boat’s safety in mind.

An Incredible Moment in the 340NM Offshore Race: We Lost Our Rudder!
We had an incredible experience during the recent 340 nautical mile offshore race. While sailing in a strong third-place position, our boat’s rudder blade broke off at its base. This incident forced us to abandon the race.
Although news reports stated that the rudder was “locked,” the reality we faced was far more severe. The complete detachment of the rudder blade created a critical situation for navigation and safety. In that challenging moment, our team did not panic. Instead, we performed a heaving-to maneuver for 6 hours to keep the boat stable and safe. Following this period, a successful 7-hour rescue operation brought us safely back to shore.
This experience proved once again that a sailor’s experience and composure can be life-saving even in the most difficult moments. Most importantly, it reminded us all as a team how vital it is to make the right decisions and prioritize safety above all else during a crisis.
